The cost will include: all flights to and from Halifax,
Nova Scotia, kit hire & instruction while during the
activities, all transport in Canada, camping equipment,
self-catering food (and cooking equipment}, camp sites,
river licences etc. The cost will depend on numbers.
The following are not included: optional sea kayak day
(on day 7), eating out while in Canada (this is optional),

Tour itinerary |
Day 1-2:
Afternoon arrival in Bratislava followed by
visit the TV tower for afternoon tea and snack
and to enjoy a panoramic view of city and surrounds. After check
in we will go for dinner to a local restaurant in the Old town.
Next day after breakfast we will have a guided tour of the Old
town to see the main sights including the Castle, Michael’s
Gate, the Main Square, the National Theatre etc.; followed
by a short coach tour. Around noon we will travel to Castle
Smolenice (about 20 kms from Bratislava) for lunch
and visit the Cave Driny with waterfalls and
pagoda-like stalagmites, stalactites and sinter pools. After
lunch we visit the ancient town of Trnava with
the Gothic St. Nicholas’s Parish church (14th
century) and the University St. John’s Church (17th century). This is a pretty town with interesting
gift shops. We have organized a wine tasting of traditional
Slovak wines with the chance to buy before dinner in a local
restaurant.
- Accommodation in Hotel Crown Plaza **** (both nights), lunch
and dinner included.
Day 3-4:
We make a morning transfer to Vienna where
we take a guided tour to visit the imperial palace
Hofburg, Vienna City Hall, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Schönbrunn
Palace, the Belvedere etc.. In the evening we will
enjoy a Classical Concert at the Orangery
Schoenbrunn, a place rich in tradition, where the Schönbrunn
Palace Orchestra and the Schönbrunn Chamber Ensemble
perform the most beautiful tunes of the classic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann
Strauss.
- Accommodation in Hotel Stefanie **** (both nights), day
4 free am time, lunch and dinner included.
Day 5-6:
We will make a morning transfer to Budapest,
with a stop for elevenses at the Neusiedler See,
famous for yachting and vineyards on the border with Hungary.
After arriving in Budapest and lunch we will take a half day
guided tour of the Old town and visit State Opera
House, the Parliament, St. Stephan's Basilica etc. After dinner we make an excursion to take a night view of
Budapest.
Next morning there will be free time for shopping and after
lunch a 1 hour boat trip; followed by a further guided tour.
Dinner will be in a local restaurant with traditional
Hungarian music and food.

lunch and dinner included
Day 7:
Transfer to the A/P Budapest for departure.
