Namibia is a country of compelling beauty, abundant sunshine,
and a feeling of unconfined space. With its unspoilt landscapes
and large variety of game, Namibia is one of the larger countries
in Africa, and draws an increasing number of visitors from
various parts of the globe.
Namibia is home to the largest population of cheetah still
in existence. These predators are known for their grace, beauty
and speed, and concerted efforts are being made to preserve
the species in the wild.

visiting the different waterholes and then take a break for
lunch in Halali. After lunch and a quick swim we continue
our game driving until we reach Okaukuejo by late afternoon.
We set up camp, and dinner is cooked over the open fire. Our
camp is close to the excellent floodlit waterhole and this
is a great place to spend the evening. It is famous for its black rhino and elephant sightings. Camping
with hot showers. Swimming pool available. Night waterhole
for evening viewing.
DAY 6: We rise early and, after a quick cup
of coffee, we head out on our morning game drive. Etosha has
an enormous pan, a shallow, salty depression which once may
have been a lake-bed, but now only fills with shallow water
in exceptionally wet years. Around its perimeter, numerous
waterholes attract great concentrations of wildlife and it
is here that we concentrate our game drives. We return to
relax during the heat of the day before our afternoon game
drive. Camping with hot showers. Swimming pool available.
Night waterhole for evening viewing.
DAY 7: Early morning game drive and then back
to camp for cooked brunch. Depart Etosha and drive to the

guide. Dinner will be cooked over the open fire. Camping with
hot showers.
DAY 8: Depart the Himba village and a short
drive to Twyfelfontein to visit the rock engravings, Burnt

available.

the open fire. Camping with hot showers and swimming pool
available.
DAY 11: A pre-dawn start to the day! We are
camped within the Park so we are allowed to enter the dune
field before sunrise. This enables us to see the sunrise over
dune 45 and breakfast amongst the dunes. We then walk to Deadvlei
and Sossusvlei and have the whole morning here. We
leave the dunes around lunch time and travel back to our camp
to relax for a while. We visit Sesriem Canyon before
the sun sets. Dinner is cooked over the open fire. Camping
with hot showers.
