The price includes: International and internal flights, all accommodation (based on double-occupancy), one English tour guide, bus for all land transfers, admission fees to all places and activities mentioned in itinerary, all meals indicated in itinerary, all gratuities for drivers, guides and local support staff, all relevant trip taxes, local duties and surcharges, drinking water and snacks on coach, water and tea during meals, international SOS emergency evacuation service plan and ATOL protection.
The price excludes: Chinese tourist visa (required for most foreign passport holders), Expenses of a personal nature (e.g. mini bar, telephone calls, laundry, ect.), excursions and activities not included in the itinerary.

Day 1 - Depart from London airport
Day 2 - Beijing - Meet and greet with our guide at the airport and transfer to Park Plaza / Time permitting, visit a local park / Dinner at a nearby restaurant
Day 3 - Beijing (Park Plaza) B L D* - Morning stroll around Tiananmen Square / Visit the Forbidden City / Have Lunch overlooking Houhai Lake / Pedi-cab tour Beijing's old alleyways (hutong) with a visit to a traditional courtyard home (siheyuan) to partake in local pastimes such as Chinese yo-yo and knot making / Afternoon Mandarin Lesson / Peking Duck dinner
Day 4 - Beijing (Park Plaza) B L D - Take part in traditional Chinese sports in a morning trip to the Temple of Heaven / Afternoon visit to the Summer Palace, stopping for lunch en route / Kung fu culture performance
Day 5 - Beijing (Camping Great Wall) B L D - Drive to and hike along Jinshanling section of the Great Wall / Picnic lunch on the wall / Evening BBQ
Day 6 - Beijing/Xi'an (Bell Tower Hotel) B L D - breakfast at campsite and simple showers at nearby local inn / Return to the city and transfer to airport / Arrival into Xi'an / Dumpling banquet for dinner and city stroll
Day 7 - Xi'an (Bell tower Hotel) B L D - Visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors / Drive 30 minutes into the countryside to sip tea and juice, try local snacks and chat about daily life with a villager in a traditional cave dwelling home / Drive back to the city centre, and in the evening explore Xi'an's Muslim Quarter and enjoy a shadow puppet show
Day 8 - Xi'an (Bell Tower Hotel) B L D- Cycle around the Ancient City Wall / Calligraphy lesson at the Forest of Steles / Visit Shaanxi History Museum / Stroll around the Big Goose Pagoda Square
Day 9 - Xi'an/Guilin (Sheraton) B L - Visit the Hanyang Tomb en route to the airport / Fly to Guilin / Enjoy free evening in Guilin
Day 10 - Yangshuo (Li River Retreat) B L - Take a Li River Cruise / Disembark at the ancient town of Xingping / After lunch, free time in Yangshuo / Dinner on your own
Day 11 - Yangshuo (Li River Retreat) B L - Cycle through Yangshuo's beautiful countryside / Cooking class in a traditional farmhouse for lunch / Free time in afternoon to relax, dinner at local restaurant / Watch the colourful "Liusanjie Impression" evening performance
Day 12 - Guilin/Shanghai (The Astor House) B L D - Drive to Guilin airport and fly to Shanghai / Transfer to hotel and refresh / Enjoy an early dinner of Shanghainese food and head to China's most well-known acrobatics show
Day 13 - Shanghai (The Astor House) B L - Stroll through the Yu Garden and peruse Cheng Hung Miao bazaar / Lunch of Xiaolongbao soup dumplings, a local favourite / Walking tour through the French Concession area of Shanghai / Free time in the afternoon to explore and do some shopping / Dinner on your own
Day 14 - Shanghai (The Astor House) B D - Private taichi sword lesson with taichi master at Fuxing Park / Afternoon at leisure / Meet up in the evening to enjoy a sunset Huangpu River cruise and farewell dinner
Day 15 - Shanghai B - Transfer to airport and return to the UK.
