The price will include: coach transfers from Oxford to and from Gatwick, return scheduled flights Gatwick-Toulouse, coach transfers to and from Luz-St-Sauveur, Three qualified Moutain Guides for the duration of the seven day trek, five donkeys or horses for 7 days, tents and cooking equipment, all food during the trek, two nights in the camp ground in Arras, organisation and logistical support, insurance, ATOL protection. The price does not include: personal expenses, pocket money

Tour Overview
The Pyrenees in high summer
A seven day camping trek led by fully qualified local Mountain Guides
Limited to 20 places
Planned Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Leave Oxford in the morning and fly to Toulouse from Gatwick. Coach transfer to Arras en Lavedan. Learning how to put tents up and select the minimum amount of required gear. Cook dinner at the camp ground.
Day 2 - Start of the seven day trek with donkeys around the Val d'Azun, one of the seven valleys of the Lavedan. This is not a high mountain region but there are plenty of excellent summits and fabulous view points, Arras to Col de Bazes.
Day 3 - Summit Bazes, Col de Bazes to Lac de Soum.
Day 4 - Lac de Soum to Col de Soulor, summit Surgate.
Day 5 - Col de Soulor to Col des Borderes.
Day 6 - Summit Pic du Pan. Col de Borederes to Lac d'Estaing.
Day 7 - Lac d'Estaing to Sireix
Day 8 - Return from Sireix to Camp ground in Arras for shower and last night.Final evening "party" and pack up
Day 9 - Morning departure for Toulouse by coach, fly back to Gatwick and return to Oxford by coach.
