What we do
Smaug Abroad promotes the pleasure of travelling with a group of like-minded people.
Our experience of organising ski trips convinced us that it is more fun for everyone if the travellers are free to explore, enjoy and encounter the people and places they are visiting. Our aim is to give everyone the freedom and peace of mind to soak up the experiences of the trip without having to worry about any organisational details.
Aside from exploring the history and architecture of each destination we look for adventure, and a genuine encounter with the local culture, including local restaurants with authentic cuisine.
Some of our trips happen only once and some are repeated regularly. Some are planned with both adults and children in mind while others are designed for either one or the other.
Every trip is centred on someone’s passion and our leaders are experienced and enthusiastic. They encourage fun and friendship so that travellers always return bonded with new friends and keen to travel again together.
